The Buttery Layout

From the parking area there is a gate to the forecourt. Entrance leads into a combined lounge / dining / kitchen area with slate floor and oak beams.

A half flight of steps leads down to the oak floored bedroom and bathroom which comprises a traditional slipper bath, hand basin and WC.

Please note that the ceiling over the stairs and into the bathroom are quite low.

From the bedroom and front garden area there are views towards Scafell, Bowfell and Crinkle Craggs.

As well as the area adjacent to the front door, there is a secluded south facing patio courtyard which features a "fire basket" for use on warmer evenings. There is also use of a nearby field.

For Internet connection the Buttery is hardwired to the main router so is very fast.

A gas BBQ and tools are provided.

We welcome all pets (with well behaved owners!)

What to expect in the Buttery

The floor area of the combined living accomodation (lounge/kitchen/dining area - not including the bedroom and bathroom) is approximately 5 x 3 metres.

Lounge area

• Multifuel "log burning" stove
• Two person sofa
• TV with integral DVD player, Sky Digital HD (all Sky channels, including Sport)

Dining area

• Pull out table and stools
• Dresser

Kitchen area

• Four ring gas cooker, oven and grill
• Fridge with freezer compartment
• Dishwasher
• Microwave
• Kettle, filter coffee machine, toaster and the usual utensils and crockery.

Double Bedroom

• Double bed
• Wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cupboards
• It is possible for us to add a small "put you up" bed for a younger child although this does impact on bedroom space
• Hairdryer

Ensuite bathroom

• Traditional slipper bath
• WC and basin

In Addition

• Access to laundry facilities, iron and board
• Wifi internet access (Starlink satellite internet - Hardwired to the main router & very fast)
• Night storage heating and multi fuel "log burning" stove
• Enclosed courtyard garden (not grassed), and forecourt area both have garden furniture.
• Gas BBQ (gas inclusive)
• Pets welcome (but not allowed on the furniture)
• Ample parking
